Clinic

The clinic was coordinated by Marilyn S. Stoner, RN, PhD—healthcare providers, such as nurses from the local community. Oming Tamuk, RN and Gracy Siram, RN provided translation and cultural insights into the families who attended the clinic. Each person completed a health history, vital signs were taken and each person identified the health concern that brought them to the clinic.

A Tibetan doctor Phuntsok Wangdue, from the Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute provided additional screening and treatment using traditional medicines. All the acupuncture treatments, herbs, ointments, and incense were all provided by Dr. Wangdue and distributed by his two staff members.

DR. Tenzin Gompo

There will be a traditional Tibetan physician in residence, who can provide holistic diagnosis and treatment according to this ancient wisdom tradition. Additionally, modern “western” medicine will be delivered by skilled visiting doctors and nurses from India and abroad. If you are a medical professional and are interested in offering services on a volunteer basis, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us.

We invite you to be part of the causes and conditions that bring the Odiyana Heath Clinic into full manifestation.

We thank you all for your financial support which enabled the accomplishment of establishing Odiyana Clinic.  We would also like to offer our gratitude to all the members of the Tibetan Aid Foundation led by Dorjee Tsewang and Dolkar Tso, for bringing this dream to reality.

May All Beings Benefit.
